Hello!
 

My name is Mikayla Wells! I am a 23-year-old Digital Artist with an Art BFA concentrating in Digital Media and a Film Studies Minor from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

 

I grew up with iconic pop-culture ranging from animation to games to film to comics. I naturally found myself striving to be apart of the digital arts since childhood. As the founding Vice President of Women in Animation student group at UNCC, I was able to share what I've learned about the craft with my peers who were just as passionate. I was able to thrive in a leadership position as someone who always felt too nervous or undeserving of the role. It changed my perspective drastically!

 

In my free time I love to write essays, watch films, bond with people, and contribute to online art communities.
